Inserting Word Art.

WordArt in Publisher is the same as WordArt in MS Word except for:

1. The opening of WordArt and
2. You do not have to include a frame to move it all around.

Refer to creating WordArt.

To create Word Art, click on the WordArt button in the tool box. Then click and drag over the page at the desired location.

HINT: you can use WordArt for the first letter and a second WordArt for the rest of the word.

All the frames can be resized or moved using the resizing handles and the pointers as described in step six.

Inserting Clipart.

Select the Insert clipart button from the tool box (refer to page 5), draw the required frame where you want the picture to appear and double click inside it.You are then taken to the dialogue box below. By Default you will look in the clipart folder. But remember that you can look in any other folder and choose any drawing which you might have drawn.

As soon as you select the drawing, Publisher will next show you this dialogue box (Import Picture).

You can select either to change the shape of the frame to fit the picture or Change the shape of the picture to fit the frame. You can then click OK when you decide.
