We took a 6 month class on clowning called "Be a Clown, Be a Clown" at Life Church (formerly know as Church On The Move). We learned so many things from our teachers Nick & Diane also known as Isayah and Grace & Mercy. We then graduated on May 1, 2001 at Life Church (Church On The Move) in Allentown, Pa.
Before and after we graduated we clowned with our teachers and the rest of the team (Clowns On The Move) at the projects in this area with H20 formerly known as "Yogi Bear Club". We then started up Zany Clowns. Zany meaning a ludicrous, and a buffoonish character in old comedies who attemps feebly to mimic the tricks of the clown.
From there we started to book birthday parties, picnics, church programs, and a whole lot more.
We now have a large variety of trick, props, puppets, Raccoons, skits, and games for all ages.
The tricks, and props that we use are straight from the professionals. Some have even been seen on TV.
Our puppets include Charlie the Clown, Taryn, and Fireman Fred. Our Raccoons are Rocky and Sarah.
The balloon sculptures that we do consist of: Dog, Bear, Swan, Hat, Humming Bird, Sword/Cross, Flower, Bracelet, Tulip, Mighty Mouse, and Rabbit. Just to mention a few.
In December 2002, Zany Clowns were invited to clown and hand out stocking in Mexico for Christmas. We clowned at three ranches, one special needs school and two churches in Matahuala. We handed out over 1,000 stocking in 5 days.
We enjoy putting a smile on someone's face, that's what us clowns are for!
As the years gone by, we are seeing our mission come true and seeing people coming to know Jesus Christ through our programs that we do!
Praise God for those who entered the Kingdom of God and enjoying everyday life by clowning around with us!
