Vegetable Vada Ingredients 1.Urad dal 2cups 2.Onions ,carrots and capsicum chopped 1/2cup 3.Green chillies chopped 2 4.Cumin seeds (zeera) 1/4tsp 5.Baking soda(optional for rising) one pinch 6.Baking powder(optional for softness) 1/4tsp 7.Salt 8.Oil for deep frying Method 1.Soak dal overnight or 4hrs.Grind it to a paste. 2.Mix the dal with all the ingredients except oil. 3.Wet/grease hands before making the donut shaped Vadas. 4.Deep fry them until golden brown.serve with sambar and any chutney Cooking tip Add some chopped spinach for more flavor |
