Tiger Tracks
Seneca Rocks, WV:

Weekend run up to Seneca Rocks, WV, my favorite rock climbing spots. No climbing this week though, just a quick stop in the local climbing shop, the "Gendarme". A visit to the Park Service visitor center. Then we're off again to finish up 'breaking in' the Tiger. Notice size of Tiger compared to the Honda Valkyrie
.

Tampa / St.Petersburg, FL:

Waited for a break in the rain for a run to Florida. Well, made it to Columbia, SC and hit the rain anyway, the rest of the way to Tampa. Turned that  seven hour segment into a 13 hour slog. 'Simba' seemed to eat it up though. Even after an impatient old bat cut us off in the Columbia rest area; which left us laid over in the oily, wet parking area. Still thinking about those crash bars? An embarrising  moment, and a scuff on the bars, and away we were to clash with the weather. At Nearly 770 miles one way, expect your anatomy to but up a fuss far sooner than the bike.
Busted doing my final prep for a run to Arizona to meet with my climbing partner. Then swing north to do some climbs on the Grand Teton. Followed by a route  on Long's Peak in Colorado. Back to Arizona for a spin out Old 66 on my way back to good 'ole Virginia'. Got some panniers rigged and tested out just prior to leaving.
