CANOPUS KSHAU's Quarters
Born to Tailin and Dawn, and raised as an Owner. She was a prominent criminal law prosecutor on Zekira, and has always had a keen mind for such things.
She is a balanced, attractive woman, with strong limbs and pleasant curves. Her skin is hazel colored, with striped markings of brilliant red near her spines, and on her face. Her hair is violet pink and metallic orange, fluffy and long. Her eyes are very green, on a dark brown 'white'. She has a tail as well as the long spines from the Kshau line.
Her powers include the ability to fully monitor and heal herself, as well as completely transfer her personality into another body, control emotions and mental faculties. She is completely immune to Etan's psionics, but she is very susceptable to everyone else's. This makes her an ideal candidate for many types of animals or dragons, which use telepathy as their main source of communication.
Canopus has a daughter with Moshai, named Kishma, who is also aboard the Zekiran ship.
Canopus' quarters are warm, and cozy, but very sprawling. Her rooms lead around each other like a maze, though if you keep walking you will always find your way out. The smell of spicy cooking is usually coming from her kitchen, as she loves the old Zpara spices she has cultivated from Zekiran seedling stores kept aboard for centuries.
Like Canopus herself, her animals are very pretty and solid, she likes them to be smart and able to take care of things while she is away, or interact with her visitors if need be. Always the good hostess, she Breeds some animals herself and on occasion gives away offspring to her friends.

This pale egg is a precious dragon egg from Katisyr Station! There are a few dragons from there living aboard our ship. This one will have a fine, warm home to hatch into! Canopus knows that whoever pops out of that shell will be needing love, attention and food! No lack of that in here! She has been told that her egg will contain a female SilverBlue dragon, with powers over the weather! That ought to be fun! She has decided on the name Nerain for this dragon.

And look at Nerain! She is just beautiful! Like a storm cloud, isn't she? Of course... She flies about the station causing little fog banks and mini-storms, and then comes flitting back to Canopus exhausted, trying to impress everyone. The little flirt!
Like several others on the ship, Canopus has adopted a Cypris egg!
She has named the egg, and whoever is inside it, Maitri a word meaning "friendship". She is certain that the Cypris who comes out of the egg will be a friend to anyone else in the ship, and certainly will be guarded well as a youngling -- and egg -- by her two companions Nerain and Jazik.
Maitri has hatched! Out of this beautiful egg came a wonderful Sky Cypran, and what a surprise! Maitri is a male, playful and full of energy.
He loves taking long naps, however, and Canopus is always listening to his little rumbling growls when he chases dreams.
Canopus and Maitri have asked some of the expert builders on board the ship to devote a small area to the Cypran aboard, since there are a number of them now, and they will have it finished by the time Maitri is an adult!
Anup and Divali are older than Maitri, and lead the way for the new little Cypran!
