Zero City , formed in 2000, is a band that traces it's roots in a lot of former Chicago bands. Mark Sendra and Bill Cravens originally paired up in the band "Scattered", which played in Chicago's south side during the mid 90's. This band also included Mark's twin brother, keyboardist Matthew Sendra, who makes a guest appearance on Zero City's debut disc. Pete Gonzales was a founding member of "Hazard", a grunge tribute band which tore up the scene in the mid 90's, with his brother Chris. Andy Athy came on board at the end of "Scattered's" run. Andy and Mark also teamed up with Mike Sendra and Rodney Golembeck, of "The Bushwackers", in the bands "Bad Pudding" and "Backwash". Zero City came together out of a desire to put Sendra's original music down on disc. The disc, available on MP3.com introduces the lead singing of Brian Mansmith, who traces his roots to various shower stalls and parties too numerous to count. After a year off, Zero City is back on the scene, updating an old set list, and working on a follow up cd with producer Ken Price. Other honorable mentions in our history: Dennis Zarobsky, Harry Lambros, Brian Mahoney, Mike Horan, Phil Jacobs and provider John Berzanskis, all of whom are friends that helped bring us together.
