3/11/07 - Team PHLOAT is in Houston, TX!  We have completed physiological training and are scheduled to fly Tuesday and Wednesday this week (3/13 - 3/14).  So far we have constructed the experiment out at Ellington Field in Hangar 990, toured the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL), and had dinner with the Purdue Alum, astronaut David Wolf.  Tomorrow is our Test Readiness Review (TRR) and we load our experiment onto the C-9 aircraft.

1/5/06 - Today Josh visited Ms Noble's AP Physics class from Lakota West High School, in West Chester Ohio.  They're going to be designing some great experiments to fly with us and we're really excited to include them!

1/4/07 - Today Amanda went to Brimhall Elementary School in Roseville, Minnesota and collected Mr. Bosu's class proposals.  They look great and will be flown as outreach experiments.

12/15/06 - We're going to Houston!  It's official, we've been accepted!

12/6/2006 - With just over a week to go until we hear back from NASA, we're all getting very excited to find out if we got accepted.  We had another team meeting today to go over our progress with the TEDP so far.  We decided to start working on it now as if we got accepted since it's due so early in the spring.  Everything's coming together very well!

10/25/2006 - Today we submitted our proposal!!!  After many long hours of researching, typing, and revising, it's finally complete and in the mail!

10/24/2006 - Today is our final meeting with Professor Collicott before we send in our proposal to NASA.  We have been working very hard these last few weeks to pull together this project.  It looks great. Hoping to put it in the mail tomorrow!

10/17/2006 - Josh, Kevin and Brandon worked all day then partied all night with this proposal.  Many edits were made, feelings were hurt, there were casualties.

10/10/2006 - Team P.H.L.O.A.T. (minus Amanda) had the opportunity to speak to students in the Education Outreach Program today.  We had a great time confusing them about capillary action and space.  A few great ideas came out of their discussions on zero gravity experiments.  Looking forward to looking at the finished product!  We ate at The Other Place...the pork burger was, disappointing.
