Naliko joins the group at the same time everything blows up into a world crisis situation. He serves as a tracker and helps the group trace Bisket. Reuinted with Talimon after over 2,000 years of hiding, he is stunned by how different her physicall stature is from her child form. He acompanies the group not only because he feels partially responsible for the crisis, but also to claim his right as Talimon's official mate.

At the begining of his introduction, he is a calm tooter sitting on a rock. His vissage stating that everything's all right and that he's at peace. When he recognizes the grown up girl friend from his past (Talimon) his eyes grow wide and amazed by the wonderfully "developed" cat. As the story waves on, he becomes more reluctant to accept the fact that the kitten that once adored him has grown independent and hateful to him for the sins he commited against her over 2000 years ago. He falls hopelessly in love with the one who hates him, while at the same time fighting to keep his independence from the Master of Darkness (Bisket).
