| Takinaki meets Bunni when she takes her little vacation to Chic Chica Island. He let her win against him in the Guess Which Cup Has the Ball game. Chadsuto is stunned for Takinaki never let anyone win before. In one match, a water demon attacked Bunni and Takinaki and Chadsuto helped. With Chadsuto's hyperactive nagging, Takinaki finally agreed to go alone with Bunni on her Quest. |

| From the young age of seven, Takinaki had to raise Chad, himself, and his nine other silbings on the little Island of ChicChica. From that day on, he practiced his looks for begging. Never being the one who took pity generously, he learned as much magic as he could in a short time span - deciding that stealing was better than bending down on one knee. Takinaki was the son of a fisherman and a midwife, both loving parents to their thirteen children (all spawned from those two). They were both killed by a group of runagade demons hell-bent on distruction of the most horrible kind. Takinaki's older brothers (Ochise-an and Ratz) when on a journey to avenge their parent's deaths and never returned. Over the years, Taki's innability to scavange enough food took its toll. By the time Taki was sixteen, only Chadsuto, the youngest off all them, was alive. The death of his family drew him to hate and distrust all demons. |
| Takinaki has fairly good looks and the knowledge of how to use them to his advantage when he needs to. He's stunned when Bunni falls for his some what "fatherly" attitude towards Chad and not his come hither act. Takinaki comes to realize more of the brighter side of people and life as his quest continues with the group. |
