How to look up things that have been sent to the Write Share Project:

(Kostya, one of the students in our class, has kindly written up the steps you'll need to follow in order to look things up.  Thank you Kostya!)

1. go to www.yahoogroups.com

2. if you have a yahoo ID, please sign in

Registered users 
Yahoo! ID: 
Password: 
Remember my ID & password  (What's this?)

Trouble Signing in?

if you don't have a yahoo ID go to

New users
Click here to register

and register.

3. go to www.yahoogroups.com (if you are not there) and click on
eGroups members

Link your accounts to a Yahoo! ID here

You should see in the first line (because you did sign in):

Welcome, "Your YAHOO ID"  Start a Group - My Groups - My Preferences - Sign Out   


and fill in the field below your E-mail address, which you use to receive the messages from Writeshareproject

Don't have a password? Forgot your password?
Enter your email address (Example: your-email123@yahoo.com)


after that click on "Continue" button and you should see:

Enter authorization code
Please check your email for your authorization code. This code will allow you to link your account to a Yahoo! ID


and in ~ 10 minutes you should receive the mail from "Yahoo! Groups Notification <notify@yahoogroups.com>"

that will contain the authorization code and following instructions:


"We have received your request for an authorization code to
link your email address with a Yahoo! ID so that you can
access your groups through the Yahoo! Groups website.

* If you requested this notice and want to proceed to
  convert your account, please follow these steps:

  1.  In your web browser, go to:
      http://groups.yahoo.com/convwiz?st=2&email=kotc2%40home%2Ecom

  2.  Enter this authorization code: *******

  3.  Follow the instructions on the web page to convert
      your account."


That's all. The step 2 (to register as Yahoo user) can be done during step 3 after you will enter the authorization code - yahoo will require you to do it.
