The captions for today are brought to you by putting the first caption in babelfish, also konwn as The Instant Engrish Maker. They are shots of the International Center at the college, where I spend most of my free time during the day.
Really didn't do to much today. I was pretty sick, so I just slept until noon-thirtyish, wandered around town for an hour and a half or so, then came back exhausted and slept for another three hours. I think I'm pretty much better now, so the trip is still a go. I bought my ticket, so I'll be leaving on the night bus at 11 P.M. and getting in around 5 or 6, I think. With any luck I'll be able to sleep through the whole bus ride, thereby saving myself a night's lodging and getting a nice, early start on the day. Oof. 6 A.M. I should say that's early.
Bliss! I got Wu to yell "Shi-chew (stew) is my life!" into my phone, and thanks to a little recording technology that sound clip is now the alert tone for recieving an e-mail on my phone. I couldn't be happier. One of the Aussie girls had the same idea and got a clip of him saying another common phrase of his in Japanese, "It's great! Just like me!" and sent that one to me. That's now my ring tone. I just want to bottle 100% pure Wu and sell him across the world at competitive prices.
Sorry, those skeptics who advised taking clothes; clothes are a device of control imposed on us by the prison-industrial complex to keep us in chains. And I'm not bringing anything except my satchel, so it's a choice of either books or clothes; I don't even have to say how long it took me to make that choice. I'm staying with a friend in Himeji the last night of the trip, so he might have a thing or two to say about my choice, but I'm sure everyone else will just assume that I'm yet another in a long line of stinky gaijin, beginning with Blackthorne and carrying on unbroken since then.
I'll be gone from tomorrow evening until late Monday night, so this will be my last post until then. I love you guys, never change! Have a great summer! Let's totally hang out sometime!!!! Peace in the Middle East! Jya ne, bye bye!

The best part of the International Center is that the sliding screens reveal hidden ninjas.

The part where the international center is best is to make ninjas where the gliding screen is hidden clear.
