Have you met someone for the first time and instantly knew they had a unique and special spirit, that is Ryan. People always wanted to be around him. His sense of humor was something that many desired. I remember once when we were picking Ryan up from the airport and he wanted to see if he could get off the plane without anyone recognizing him. Well here came these people off the plane and no sign of Ryan. A few minutes passed and my mom heard a voice say "Are you waiting for someone Ma?" We all turned to look and sure enough it was Ryan with a baseball hat on that had this fake long hair attached inside. He walked right past us and we never noticed. Ryan was always doing things like that to make sure that there was never a dull moment.

Ryan died in a four wheeling accident near our house on July 20,1997. Nothing can take away the pain that our family has felt from the loss of Ryan, but we do hold on to the only thing we have....faith that we will be together forever as a family again.

Ryan's special, funny, strong, and giving spirit has made an impact on so many people. Of all the things that I think my family misses most...is his smile & laughter.
