Information from the UNDP-EUE:We have made arrangements for the receipt of private donations to the UNDP main account in Addis Ababa. The account details are as follows: United Nations Development Programme On receipt of funds UNDP will issue an official receipt and acknowledgement. For amounts of up to $30,000 we would propose the local purchase of food, clothing and blankets for the most needy people in drought affected areas like Welo, Gondar, Hararghe and Wolayta/Konso. We (the Emergencies Unit) would be directly involved in identifying the beneficaries, purchasing the supplies and monitoring distributions.
