Newsflash: Lana and
Frank (a.k.a. Tarma and Metron to our online friends) are getting married!
When:
November 27, 1999
Where: Walt Disney World, Florida
The ceremony will
begin at about 10:00am, with the reception following soon thereafter. After the main reception is over in the afternoon,
there will be a break to relax, and change clothes if you like. Then, there will be a fantastic desert reception
at Epcot (you really don't want miss this!). Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the wedding events
and back, so don't worry about cars too much.
Next month Disney will send our guest list a "Save-the-Date" letter that details hotel reservations and
ticket purchases. You don't have to get your tickets through Disney. We'll be including information on ticket price
comparisons soon so you can chose the most economical option.
We've blocked out rooms at the new All-Star Movies resort (Addendum: We've also added rooms at the Wilderness Lodge).
It's the least expensive of the Disney Hotels, and our group gets a discount on top of that. When you do make your
reservations, please request the Fantasia building. We're trying to gather everyone there. (We'll be in touch with
the room controller and will ask him/her to put our group in the Fantasia building too. But two requests can't
hurt.)
There is no rush to get your rooms reserved; we're just sending everything out early so you have plenty of time
to plan. Also, we'll have soon put up some information on flights into Orlando.
