Bruce Claussen and Don Hlus. Upon graduating Cory went on to performing
with legendary Canadian bands such as Crowbar, King Biscuit Boy and local
favorites Pound. Cory Dingle claims his association with Kelly J of Crowbar
was very professionally influential, "Kelly J showed me and convinced
me what it took to be a committed musician in this business of music."
Currently Cory Dingle is apprenticing under internationally known composer
Barry Truax, in search of his masters in Electroacoustic music. Professionally,
Cory Dingle is the session guitarist for the Sonic Research Studios in
Burnaby B. C and the resident guitarist for the S.F.U house band.
Collaborating with drummer Greg Bruce and bassist Graham Porter for the
past two years, Cory's contribution to Drop Groove Trio has led to the
creation of the freshest, hottest live band to emerge locally in quite
some time. Cory Dingle is a versatile player known for his very original
energetic guitar style, his electroacoustic integration and experimental
violin coupled with meaningful poetry. Above all Mr. Dingle believes in
the pursuit of the utmost professionalism in the business of
music. |
