          Really good pate and Brie. A new shoot on a house plant. A Rose. A Gardenia. Champagne. A delicate crystal glass. Percale sheets. Sterling silver and fine china. Lace and Satin, Velvet and Silk. Big thick soft towels and washcloths An aromatic long soak of a bath. Shalimar. Candles flickering. Christmas and Easter. Suggling my nose in the neck of my baby, baby hands and feet. Voilin music. Piano music. Johnny Mathias, Barbara Striesand , Bette Midler and Whoppee Goldberg.



          The ocean. Sitting curled up watching the fire in the fireplace on a cold evening with a glass of good wine. Warm fresh baked bread..crusy out soft in with real butter. Puppies and Kittens. GreatDanes, any size. A hug , a kiss and the laughter of a child. Making love to a man that is your best friend. Weddings.


          Tender, rare beef, quiche , mushrooms, popovers, baked potatoes that are done and soft with , S&P, sour cream and butter, new asparagras, Green Beans Almondine. Fresh steamed brocolli and califlower with cheddar. Shell fish of any kind. Pasta with white sauce and garlic. The look shared with someone when they understand and no words are necessary. Judy, Sandy, Dennis and Herb together. Judy and me.


          Coordinated bed linens and mounds of big pillows in Battenburg Lace. Down Comforters. The sounds of birds chirping in the morning and at dusk, rain, a train whistle, a ship horn, a fog horn. Falling snow. Fishing, anywhere but preferably in the surf or on a dock. Dancing, Karioke. A new haircut and a new manicure. Reading in bed. Books and more books....fiction, gardening and cookbooks.
