We, the Members of Studio Macadam, the Kids & Teens of Bearable Times - The Kids Hospital Network & the Students of Shadows on the Shore in America, have made this story for all the children in Holland. It is our gift to the Dutch Children's Bookweek of 1999. We dedicate this story to our friends of the Flevoparkschool in Amsterdam.

You know, we Macadamians, are sometomes staying in hospitals and sometimes we are homebound, and some of us has to keep a diet. That means we aren't allowed to eat sweets or cakes or other things like chips or peanuts at a birthday of a party. That's why we made this story of Jaco the horse. This story is a gift from:
