The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Marisa Mollica of Belmont, Mass., sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Readings were given by Karen Mayo of Londonderry and Scott MacBride of Somersworth.

Kevin Simmons of Dover, brother of the groom, was best man. Nicholas Simmons of Dover, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.

The bride, daughter of John and Ruth Mollica, is a 1987 graduate of Concord High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. She is a financial manager at Pepsi-Cola Co.

The groom, son of Lee Learson of Concord and Richard and Laura Simmons of North Hampton, earned a bachelor's degree from Keene State College and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. He is a marketing specialist at Quantum Corp.

The couple went on a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, and is living in Belmont, Mass.

I often tell you about Mollicas who achieve stature in various professions; to that list we can now add Drug Cartel Management. According to an article in the Nation newspapers on July 23, 1998, a Court in Milan, Italy issued arrest warrants "following the arrest of members of the powerful drug cartel belonging to the Marabito and Mollica families." Looks like the Italian police were still after Pasquale Mollica for international drug trafficking.
This is so pathetic that it's funny. The self-styled Kick Ass World Wrestling Federation (KAWWF) is taking a poll. What does this have to do with the Mollica name, you ask? Things didn't work out very well for Kathy Mollica...I found the following article in a Boston, USA newspaper.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A 55-year-old woman suffered the flip side of her accusation that a little girl of stole her song, ``Santa Got Stuck in a Chimney.''

A federal judge in Pittsburgh ruled Tuesday that the woman herself ripped off a version of a 1950s tune that was copyrighted in Nashville, Tenn. ``It must have resulted from copying and cannot be mere coincidence'' that the songs are so similar, U.S. District Judge Gary Lancaster said from the bench, abruptly ending Kathy Mollica's lawsuit against the parents of Jewel Restaneo.

Jewel was 5 when she sang the song on television and recorded it on a compact disc in 1996. Lancaster ruled after officials from Milene Music Inc. of Nashville presented evidence of a 1953 copyright for the song, which was recorded back then by little Jimmy Boyd. Mollica contended that she wrote the song and copyrighted it in 1993. Her lawsuit claimed she first learned of Jewel's recorded when the girl's father called to praise the song. Mollica and her attorney declined to comment.

Jewel's mother, Christine Restaneo, said the little girl was delighted. ``She was looking out the window when I came home and she said, `Mommy, we won,' and gave me a big hug, and it was like the best hug,'' Mrs. Restaneo said.

Written with the attractive melancholy of a musical game and the light entertainment of a funny work, Mollica's brief novel is a journey into the imaginings of a common man together with being a delightful breviary for apprentice dreamers whose eyes are open and minds are awake.

          Annibale è un barbiere stralunato che un giorno decide di mandare al diavolo rasoi e pennelli  per seguire, magari sui pattini, le proprie fantasie. Sono i sogni di imperitura innocenza di quell'adolescente ribelle che sta in ognuno di noi: Pin up magnifiche, Belle al sole, Le mascherine, Vampire, sederi felliniani, profili alla «Jessica Rabbit», disegni di un Carl Barks         insospettabilmente erotico, rime ribelli, come quelle che stanno nei fumetti di Matticchio (una delle quali dà il titolo al libro). Fra un mambo e una ninna nanna, la storia di Annibale si dipana lieve, ma in filigrana racconta di un sentimento generazionale; solo che come la Radio Clochard International di Annibale lo fa intrecciando «solitudini come uno Scubidu».
