Riley kin who have been elected or appointed to State Houses of Representatives and Delegates and State Senates and Provincial legislatures.

Ann Riley was elected to the New Mexico State Senate and served 1992-1996.

Arch Wayne Riley of Wheeling, WV was elected from the 4th District as a Democrat to the West Virginia State Senate in 1958.

B. Daniel Riley was born 16 Feb 1946 in London, England. He attended Baltimore City College and graduated from Towson State University, Md. in 1978 and earned a master's degree in education there in 1984. He became a teacher at Magnolia Middle School in Joppa, Md. He became the summer crew chief and coordinator for the Maryland Conservation Corps from 1986-1996. He has served on several civic organizations and clubs. He was elected from District 34 as a Democrat to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1998 and is still in office.

Harry L. Riley of Allegheny County, Pa. was elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania State Senate and served 1909-1910.

Henry H. Riley of Constantine, Mi. was elected as a Democrat from the 4th District to the Michigan State Senate and served 1850-1852 and was elected again in 1862. He served as a delegate to the Democratic Party National Convention at Charleston in 1860. He served from the 4th District as a member of the Michigan State Constitutional Commison in 1873.

James W. Riley of Olean, NY was elected to the New York State Assembly and served 1931-1938.

Joseph K. Riley was elected from Salem County, NJ to the New Jersey State Senate and served 1858-1860.

Nancy Riley of Tulsa was elected as a Republican in 2000 to the Oklahoma State Senate. She won over the Democratic opponent with only 265 votes out of a total 25,017 votes in Tulsa and Creek Counties.

Thomas ("Tom") Riley was elected as a Republican from the 23rd District to the Iowa State Senate in 1970.

Thomas F. Riley of Rochester, NY was elected to the New York State Assembly and served 1943-1948.
