As you grew up your many interests allowed your mind to remain energized to accomplish many things. Your determiniation gave you the ability to reach for your goals. You kept your excitement about what ever you did to have fun. Always kept your sense of humor which allowed you to make mistakes and learn from them. Your confidence allowed you to take risks, not being afraid of failure. Most important you, our John, from your Coach Ron, you kept your sensitivity which allowed you to take a stand for the injustices of those who couldn't stand on their own.

Your contentment with your "Angel Jody", puts that wonderful smile of yours in our hearts and on our faces. You encouraged each other's dreams, inspired happiness and held each others hand through it all. Now John, our Angel, you're by our sides, as so many times it has been proven this year. When your song, by KC & JoJo, All My Life, took the Grammy Award. When your mom stood tall, for truth and what is right, last it all, but that private thank you prior, you guided us to a better place. The opportunity that was given to us many years ago reopened, like your welcoming gentle hug. In June and July your talent of the arts flowed through mom's hands to create Your Godmother's, Aunt Penny, first baby's room. Your love of children is expressed. Most memorable of all, on July 30th, with the baby's room complete, your memory tree, 30 foot tall was planted. As mom stood placing your picture in the base of the home for it, saying our prayers, Mikayla was born. What powers the Lord has to remind us. He is always with us, allowing us to heal. Thank you John for being you! Watch over us till we are together again, our hearts and arms are open to you for your signs of love, till then, together soon. Happy Birthday John, the 23rd born to us and the 27th home to Peace with the Lord.
