The Yellow Trefoil

yellow trefoil

Once you have been enrolled as a Guide you can start working on your trefoils. The yellow trefoil is the first one and it normally takes 6 to 12 months to complete each trefoil. Talk about what you want to do with your Patrol Leader or Guider. Ask your Patrol Leader, Guider or someone at home to sign your handbook once you have completed it. Make sure you get your Parent or Guardian's permission before starting to do each challenge, some activities may need adult supervision (such as cooking).

Working with your Patrol

Take part in at least six activities with your patrol to gain new experiences in each of the eight points.

Personal Development

Decide on an activity you like doing. Show that you have made progress in it since starting your yellow trefoil. You could choose a hobby, sport, a skill or general interest and work towards an interest badge, a Patrol Interest Pennant or a similar award.
