About me, my capability, and my services

I am a U.S. citizen living in Utah's Color Country. My native language is English, and I have also lived in Germany (about 2-1/2 years), Mexico (about 2-1/2 years), and Japan (about 18 months). I have worked as a language teacher in all four countries, and I have also worked on a freelance basis as a court interpreter and as a documents translator. In addition, I have two years' experience in an academic publishing center working with HTML documents and other forms of electronic publishing and am very familiar with the user interfaces for most Internet protocols.

I have good access to fax and e-mail (including programs with attachment capabilities for formatted documents), the World Wide Web, an HTML editor, and common word-processing, spreadsheet, and database programs including those used for German, Spanish, and Japanese. I am very familiar with converting files between formats (including Adobe PDF format), sending them via e-mail, and publishing them on the World Wide Web.

I can dedicate time to major and minor projects. My rates are quite reasonable. (Payment can easily be made to me via PayPal, with U.S. Dollar checks or postal money orders, or with electronic funds sent to my U.S. bank.) Document delivery can be made via e-mail, fax, or postal mail.

I should mention that I find it very important personally to provide the best possible services for my customers. I take pride in communicating as accurately as possible between cultures.
