While many a star may be seen throughout the night,
To be seen when the sun shines is a rare sight.
This she is: For with smiles that win
and an intensity softly gracing her eye
she overcomes what the sun tries to deny
She to me is a star of the day
Upon first sight, attracting my attention without delay.
