How to defeat "Day of the Destroyer!"

Might and Magic 8 Walkthrough

Why a walkthrough?

Because I finished the game, and I have the .pcx file to prove it.
And in case you haven't, I'd like to help you finish as well.

Rolling up a Character

I picked a Dark Elf to start.
Characters will come and go, so don't get attached to any of the rest.
But your main character will be with you throughout the game,
so it should be one that you enjoy playing.
And it should have useful skills...
I am a hack-and-slash player, so my choice was easy.
3d0 divides the skills up into 'combat,' and 'magic,' and 'miscellaneous.'
I divided them up into 'necessary,' and 'useless.'
Disarm Trap and Merchant were at the top of my necessary
list, as was Bow.
The Dark Elf is the only character that can get to Grandmaster status
in all three of those categories.
If you've played M&M7 and M&M6, you know why I feel this way.
If you haven't, it's ok... that's why I have this walkthrough.
And you can always e-mail me with a question at Dannybrat@aol.com
and I will answer it and post a FAQ when I get enough questions.
