This is my beliefs on the subject of the X-Files and other related items. Remember, this is only my thoughts. . . .

• The Cigarette Smoking Man aka Cancer Man is actually Mulder's biological father. Perhaps, during the earlier days, they had an affair of which Fox came into being and it was actually him who "chose" that Samantha be abducted during her early childhood instead of Fox.
  
• Deep Throat isn't actually dead. He could have been the driving force behind X's visits to Mulder. Although many people have expressed interest as Senator Matheson being the real informant, I don't think this is the case.
  
• Right now, everyone is saying that Mulder faked his death or that he will be brought back. We believe that they used the body of someone else, or *perhaps* a very good faked body, the detectives called Scully to identify this person in Mulder's apartment. We did not see him because it didn't look like him at all because it wasn't him. They only assumed it was Mulder because the body was in his apartment. Scully identified this body as Mulder, knowing full well that he was alive and well elsewhere. She then reported to the committee on his "suicide" giving CSM reason enough to give up the chase on her and cure her. He now has no use for the cancer to be hanging over Mulder's or Scully's heads (no pun intended). Next season, Mulder will work behind the scenes of the FBI, maybe getting The Lone Gunmen to hack into the FBI personnel files and mark him as alive again (or not DECEASED) so that he can use all available resources through a phone line (i.e. databases, labs, programs, etc.), and no one will ever know. I mean, how often does the IRS check the FBI personnel files?
  
• It is also my belief that there are aliens in Area51. Moreso, I believe that they have recovered, either whole or in part, an alien craft. They are obviously keeping it quiet to prevent public panic or mass curiosity, but also to keep the technology to themselves.
  
• As for a storage facility being stored underneath the Pentagon, I'm not sure about that one. Although the concent is quite difficult to grasp, who knows what isn't possible nowadays?

  Here are some questions that I am still unsure about

• Is there a connection between Willam Mulder and Deep Throat?
  
• In The Blessing Way, it is believed that Mulder died thus visiting the spirit world (He says "They killed my father and then they killed me"). I have had a view in which the person believed that it was just Mulder's sub-conscious mind and that he wasn't actually dead.
  
• What is the real agenda of the Well-Manicured Man and the Shadowy Syndicate in which he operates?
