Description:

Long red hair, almost to her knees, but braided. Auburn eyes, fair skin, medium built, around 5 feet. She prefers wearing dark brown or black cloaks, a short red skirt and a white silk top, knee high boots, a broadsword slung behind her back and a few daggers hidden somewhere. She wears an emerald and ruby studded bracer with an image of a bear on her left arm -- a gift from her husband. On this bracer, she has attached a magical crystal called Aurora's Crystal. On her right arm she wears a wrist guard underneath a plain leather bracer. A blue sapphire signet ring can be seen on her left hand while a black onyx ring is on her right. .

History:

A daughter of a somewhat noble family, Swordstrike chose to study swordwork with her brothers than spend her days in the castle sewing and weaving. She learned how to cook, sew and all those other "woman's" chores to please her parents. Some of her ancestors were mages, belonging to a clan solely dedicated to the Goddess Thianna... the Goddess of Creation. Her magical powers are thus inherited.

When she was born, she was betrothed to the son of another noble. Years passed and soon the two fell in love and were about to marry when she reached her 16th year. But war against another realm broke out six months before her 16th birthday. Her betrothed went to war, fighting along side her brothers. She wanted to go into battle with them but saw reason in staying in the realm to protect the castle and their subjects and to help her mother run their small estate. Months passed, when some of their forces returned home. Her betrothed was among them, but he was gravely wounded and very sickly. The healers could do nothing for him and what little time he had left, he spent with her, telling her of the war and how sorry he was that he could not be her husband. She took his signet ring, putting it on her left ring finger and has never taken it off.

As new soldiers made ready to return to the battlefield, she went with them, despite her mother’s protest. The war was won, but instead of returning home, she decided to visit the world and sell her sword because she had nothing left for her back home. Soon, she met fellow mercenaries and became part of some clans. Her skill had landed her in high ranking positions. But her current dilemma (with her fire magic) forced her to take a leave of absence from the clans. She met Chase -- a snow-white artic wolf -- in one of her travels and he has never left her since.

Her current dilemma pushed her to search for a land called Venosia, where perhaps her problem may be solved. Upon finding Venosia she discovers that she is the Chosen One... the one person fit enough to carry and protect Aurora's Crystal -- a magical crystal which can give one the power to control all of the elemental magic in Venosia. But the crystal houses the soul of the previous Chosen One. Thus, in times of imminent danger Swordstrike shapeshifts/transforms into the form of the previous Chosen One. He is named Corin, the Guardian of Aurora's Crystal.

In her journeys, she came upon Glenshadow Tavern, where she met and fell in love with a dark elf by the name of Nightsblade. They were married on the 11th of July. Ten months later she gave birth to three bundles of joy... Moltenblade, Nightstryke and Midnightstreak.

Many years have past now and Swordstrike's bundles of joy have increased more than a hundred fold. She and Nightsblade have at least 20 children and the keep is as busy as ever.

Furthermore, an Avatar of Darkness has sworn revenge against Swordstrike for she was responsible for imprisoning him in his dimension 10 years ago. It would be easy for Swordstrike to fight against him, but now that she has children and a loving husband, she is torn between her duty as a warrior and her duty as a mother and wife. To make things worse, this Dark Avatar who goes by the name of Mephisto has sworn to do another deed -- to make the clan's Goddess, Thianna, the happiest woman on the earth. .
