Mars Colony, Araxes Base, 2157 (Gret's donor a few years older than her clone). Gret, full-time on the Deepwater Black project, was discussing with her colleague about the Pandora Virus and the gene bank, when a Pandora patient gets loose and is shot down by guards. She is also there to hear an announcement about the Pandora Virus having killed everyone on Earth. (Lullaby)
Lowell Pharmaceuticals, Lunar Colony, c. 2140 (Gret's donor about the same age as her clone). Gret was working on DNA-irradiation technology as a cure for the Pandora Virus when the pharmaceutical's president, Edmund Lowell, terminated the project. (Hunt)

Gret is probably the most knowledgable of the crew on the mission, as her donor worked on the Deepwater Black project on Araxes. She takes her responsiblity to the gene bank extremely seriously, especially with the memories of her donor's friends and family dying due to the plague. She thinks about the mission above all else.

A geneticist, Gret's expertise is in communications and genetics. She also does maintenance duties on the gene bank and the biomatrics.

The status of her relationship with Bren is kind of uncertain.
