Dark Shadows was a daytime TV series that ran on
ABC-TV from 1966 until 1971. It began as a gothic soap opera,
and was in danger of cancellation until the introduction of Vampire
Barnabas Collins, portrayed by Shakesperean actor Jonathan Frid,
in 1967. The fans loved the vunerable Vampire which Mr.
Frid portrayed, and the rating soared. During the course
of the next 4 years, the writers introduced witches, werewolves,
ghosts and other supernatural plotlines. Today, there are
many DS fans, and many of us have continued the saga of the Collins
family through our own fan written fiction. Here you will
find a repository for some of my own fan fiction about my favorite
television series of all time!
