Pics of my Collection - Page 3

Back To Rework's Index

These are pictures taken just after Transcon 98.

Transcon 98 Haul
This is my haul from Transcon 98. Even though the attendee turnout was... uh... a little sparse (that's being kind), that just left that many more deals for those of us who were there! Loose, boxed, Japanese, dometic... a little bit of everything!

Aquablast Prototype
A prototype of the European-only Stormtrooper Aquablast, along with two of the package variations of the real thing. This is likely one of the last pre-production tests before production. It has slightly different coloring, and a few minor assembly differences from the real thing.

Autobot Display Case, Fall 1998
This and the next pic are my current display cases. After moving, I purchased a second case and now have a seperate display for the Autobots and Decepticons. Here's the Autobot case. I've left up the old pic on the 1st collection page to show how my collection has grown over the past year.

Decepticon Display Case, Fall 1998
The Deception display case.

24 inch Shoguns
A small collection of 24" Shogun Warriors. Missing some minor parts and missiles but all the body parts are there!

5 & 6 inch Shoguns
Here are most of the Shogun 5" and 6" "Two-in-ones", including the extremely hard to find 6" Gaiking. The "Two-in-ones" could be considered distant relatives of the Transformers. They were some of the first transforming robot toys to have success in the USA.

Combattra & Voltes V
Combatra and Voltes V (Sorry about the flash-back on the Combatra box.) These are two of the most expensive and most complicated toys in the Shogun and Godaikin lines. They are both combinations of 5 Sci-fi vehicles and very similar in design. Heavy die-cast construction. They each stand about 12" tall.

ATB Collection
Okay, this is NOT part of my collection... but this picture needed a home (and I did at least take the picture). This is all 7 variations of the G2 Dreadwing toy, including the limited production ATB Megatron. And no, I am not allowed to say in who's collection these reside.
