Comments: A real fun model to do. I very seldom do a piece for other than selfish reasons, but this one was done for a friend I met over the Internet who had seen some of my stuff over at Gremlins in the Garage. He, unfortunately, was paralysed in an accident, and is unable to do models himself. After corresponding with him, I asked him for a suggestion for a piece he would like. The result is The Crow. The only hard part was trying to get the facial expression just right. I ended with the painted smile superimposed on the a sad face which I believe conveys the feelings of the character. The excellant sculpture work by Mr. Dennett made this relatively easy. I added a little extra clear gloss to the eyes to make them appear tearful too. This photo does not really do it justice but the piece is no longer in my collection and available for another try.
