Sculptor: Randy Bowen Company: Bowen Designs Scale: approx. 1/8 Material: porcelain Date Completed: 2/13/98 Comments: This is the hardest piece to date that I have completed. It literally took me months to finally get it the way that I liked it. I had several false starts with the flesh color and its various tones before I settled on this scheme. There must be hundreds of different washes and dry brushing scattered around this model but it is a sight to see once you get it all detailed. Mr. Bowen did a fine job on this. I really liked the guitar strings for the cables. I keep a few around now in case I want to detail other models. This is one of my favorite Christmas gifts in a while and my thanks to Jeff Todd at Southern Fried Resin for it. |
