Comments: The Demon is an anit-hero created by Jack Kirby during his short but productive stay with DC comics. Jack Kirby is probably better known for his other creations, such as the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Captain America, the Hulk, and many others. This model is a single piece resin cast that took a heck of a lot of work to "clean up". That is the process of removing mold lines and using putty or milliput to fill holes and gaps. Milliput is the coolest stuff since acrylic paints as far as modelers are concerned. It is a two part putty that has a epoxy base. Once mixed it is easily worked with for an hour or so. You can achieve extremely smooth surfaces with it and it has almost no shrinkage. Once hardened, it can be sanded or carved. Not only is it great for "clean ups", it also is great for customizing or altering a model.
