If that is true, all the credit goes to the magnificent sculture work by Takayuki Takeya. He is one of my favorite artists. If you pay attention to the credits on these pages, you will notice several of his works here. The piece was extremely easy to do and is the result of multiple dry brush layers to bring out the marvelous textures of the skin and muscles. This was done beginning with a black primer and starting with a dark red (of my own mix) dry brush. With each layer I just simply lightened the red a bit. I had actually planned on doing some more on it, when Margaret commented on how good the model looked and asked when I had finished it. "Just now" was the answer. One axiom to keep in mind in modeling: the enemy of good is better. Know when to stop.
