Guyver Zoanoid

The appearance of the model belies the little effort it actually took to do. I started with a primer coat of black and then selected some areas to dry brush bronze and others to dry brush copper. Using gold, I dry brushed a blending highlighting effect that pulled it altogether. A little detailing with a metallic light blue and red and suddenly the model was done. Believe it or not, it only took a couple of hours to do this model. The base is another of the plaster of paris molds that I've made for some of my models. Cheap, easy, and can be easily customized to fit the particular model. In this case it really helped to compensate for a rather unsteady pose. I've seen a few of the Guyver movies and haven't been real impressed, but some really great models do come out of them, so I guess they are not totally worthless.
