Sculptor: Colin Batty Company: Halcyon Scale: 1/6 Material: vinyl Date Completed: 1995 Comments: This is a cool looking model but a poorly engineered piece. The legs are made of some sort of hard rubber that bends with time, unable to support the weight of the upper body. I compensated for this by adding the chain, which additionally adds to the emotion of the piece. I guess necessity is not only the mother of invention but also of artistic composition. I picked up the three Judge models by Halcyon (see Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson elsewhere on my page) for almost nothing. You can find them at Toys'R'Us for about $10 each if they still have them. I did the build ups simultaneously as they called for the same colors. This is a good trick to use to save on brush cleaning and ensures color matching on pieces in a set.
