Sculptor: David Grant Company: Castle Creations Scale: 1/6 Material: resin Date Completed: 10/20/98 Comments: What a wonderful pose!! Very majestic and powerful, but with a feminine grace. I especially like the way her cape is floating behind her. After reading several of Jerry Buchanan's articles in Modeler's Resource and watching David Fisher's Modelmania tapes, I was determined to do this one with an airbrush. Everything you see here was done with the airbrush with the exception of the hair, the belt, the emblem and the facial details. The airbrush results in an extremely smooth paint job which I felt this model called for. |
