Standing about a foot and a half tall, this was an exercise in patience. Every square inch was the result of at least two colors of blended base coat followed by airbrushing the shadows and the recesses. This was followed by what seemed like years of dry brushing in order to bring out the textures of the cloth and give the look of having just walked in from the desert. I must admit that the finished result is quite stunning in real life, but I think 1/6 scale would have probably been more fun to work with.
