Comments: Another of my early figure kits and another good one for a beginner if you can get your hands on one. No real secrets to the black and white sections other than a steady hand. So avoid that extra cup of coffee before starting. As the mouth is the only real organic area on this piece it's very important to make sure it has a natural appearance. I start my mouths with very deep red burgandy color and then dry brush a slightly lighter and redder color over it. A touch of dark pink at the gum line finishes off the soft parts. Like in real life, teeth are different for each person (or thing). For Venom, I used a light brownish yellow with a carmel brown wash to fill the crevices. A good rule of thumb in modeling is to NEVER have teeth that are all the same color. If you do, you'll end up with a model that looks like he soaks his teeth in a jar at night.
