What I Want in FFVIII : FFVIII should be a new plot and story, not continuing the seventh. I want the return of the Moogles, not like in FF Tactics, they only appears as a summoned monster. Why not Square including General Leo, Clyde Arrowny ( Shadow ), and Schala ( from Chrono Trigger ) in FFVIII ?? Let Aeris rest in peace !! Don't let her resurfacing on FFVIII !! If even Square's going to do it ....... just make her appeareance as a legend or sidequest in the game. I want more Summon monsters, maybe Kefka, Golbez, Thypoon ( Chupon ), Zodiac, Jenova, or that poor Saphire Weapon, etc. Not too futuristic....... the technology jump between FFVI and FFVII is too long. FFVIII must have a complete storyline, unlike the seventh. The translating ( from Japan version to US version ) proccess must be intensive. I don't want a lot of change ( like FFVI and below ). More space for name edit screen. Or maybe Square may include the Kanji / Hiragana / Katakana letters on it ( like Japanese FF Tactics ). Texture-maped character ( in battle ). And please no more block-handed midget. Please include Grey !!!!! His name's cool !!!!

I hope that Materia or the Espers will return in FF8. And, i think a new system of limit should be used called morph, enabling you to turn into a creature and remain as it for the rest of the battle, sort of like Vincent's Limit Breaker. I believe that the story line should be very fragmented, and maybe even have Ramia know too much, or have him as a puppet. Square should have secrets where you can meet or get characters such as Cloud or Barret, or their relatives, twisting the plot alot. And come to think of it, Squaresoft might even pull one on us, and combine two games, such as having party members from one game in the FF series meeting another group of characters, or relatives of that group. I wonder, can Squaresoft make a game better than FF7?
