The Plains You wander away from the encounter with Zeri'lache, continuing your path over the plains. Awhile later you catch the faint sound of a distant whinny, and look around for the source. Scanning the plains around you doesn't help, you can't spot the source of the sound. With a shrug you continue on your walk, thinking that some sort of equine will eventually make it over a rise into sight and then come to speak with you. An absent glance up at the sky displays a small black speck winging it's way towards you. You don't think much of it, and return your gaze to the ground. A whoop from just above your head draws your gaze upwards again awhile later. Diving towards you, a grin on it's face, is a winged unicorn who's about to crash into you! With a yelp you drop to the ground, your hands over your head. You don't look up until the sound of ringing laughter meets your ears. Cautiously you glance up, peeking through your fingers. The winged unicorn that had nearly crashed into you has landed a short distance away and is trotting back towards you, still grinning. It's folded it's green and brown wings neatly at it's sides now that it's landed. It's mostly white in color, with socks of yellow and brown on all four legs. It's mane, and the tuft on it's lion tail are a mix of gold and white. You straighten up hurriedly, scowling slightly at the unicorn. "You just about killed me!" You say, more then a bit annoyed. The unicorn blinks at you, slightly surprised by your reaction. "No, I didn't, Wanderer. I went a good two body lengths over your head." The feminine voice sounds a bit hurt. "I'm sorry.." She finishes finally when you don't say anything. "Well, okay then. Please, just don't do it again." You finally relent. The mare brightens up again, smiling slightly. " Sorry for scaring you, Wanderer. I really didn't mean to. Most of the sentients around here are used to my stunts by now.." She explains apologetically. "My name is Vet'li'redel, Breath of Nature. You might have met my Da, Milash, earlier." You blink in surprise. Milash was the Painted Unicorn that met you just before you reached the area with the Paints in it. "Oh, yes. I did meet him earlier." You reply, your surprise evident in your voice. Vet'li'redel giggles. "Yah. Da is such a dear. Takes his job very seriously. Of course Primary does nothing but encourage him. I think he finds it funny, my Da acting as Guardian for the paints. We can take care of ourselves, ya know." She raises her head proudly at this, prancing a few steps. "I"m sure you can." You say, unwilling to comment differently. You're just about to leave when the presence of another is brought to your attention as a muzzle bumps into your leg. You look down with a blink, expecting to see a foal. However, the tiny paint that just sought your attention is fully grown, despite his tiny size. Dark blue with white spots spattered all over his frame, the little stallion has a mane of pale blue streaked with gold. "Sel, Wanderer." The tiny stallion greets you quietly. "I'm Ethen'eilli'yuli, Starlight Wonder." You're about to comment on his size, then decide against it. After all, it might be a touchy subject with the little guy. Fortunately any awkward silence on your part is avoided by well, not the arrival, but the appearance of another tiny paint. With splashes of purple and blue across her hide in almost zebra like markings, she's a pretty little thing. "Sella Li.." She says quietly. "I'm Cheilli'andan.." The little zebracorn does seem to be too intent on continuing the conversation so you prepare to head out.. After spending a moment more chatting with the two Paints you continue on your journey through the plains.....
