General info

To begin with, my philosophy is to do what I want as long as it harms none. I've heard arguments that the above is impossible - you will always inadvertantly hurt someone. I don't believe that. I mean, there is always the chance that I may inadvertantly hurt someone but I don't count that. It's the intention that counts. If I don't intend to hurt someone then I believe I won't. The following sums it up pretty well.

Goals of a Natural Magician

To walk in harmony with nature, never taking without giving.
To understand that magick is an alliance between humans and the Earth for the betterment of all.
To use magick as an instrument of loving change, not hateful destruction.
To see the spiritual in the physical and to understand that neither is higher nor more perfect than the other.
To wisely use natural energies only when in genuine need, not for greed.
To know that nothing is impossible if we will work beyond personal limitations.
To work magick for others only with their permission. To celebrate magick as a union with the energies that gave us our physical forms.
To improve ourselves, our friends, and our world for the greater good of all.

These are the gods and goddesses I believe in.

There are many, many gods and goddesses, depending on what path you take. Mine are mostly Celtic, with a few others thrown in.

Earth: Danu (Dan, Dana, Dann) - The Irish/Celtic earth goddess, matriarch of the Tuatha Dé Danann ("People of the goddess Danu") note: Danu is my main goddess. She is above all others in my belief

crafts: Cerridwen

Education: Ogma or Ogmios (Ogmios Sun-Face) , Ogma is the god of eloquence and learning. patron god of scholars and personification of eloquence and persuasiveness

fertility: Brighid's three aspects are (1) Fire of Inspiration as patroness of poetry, (2) Fire of the Hearth, as patroness of healing and fertility, and (3) Fire of the Forge, as patroness of smithcraft and martial arts

Healing: Dian Cecht The great god of healing and the physician of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Love: Branwen - The Celtic goddess of love and beauty

Moon: Luna

motherhood: Brigit

Poetry and stories: Ogyruan - The Celtic god of bards

sex: Fand (also a faerie queen) and Liban, the twin goddesses of health and earthly pleasures.

Sky: Gwythyr

Storms: Manannan mac Lir

Sun: Bel

water: Coventina - The Celtic (Britain) goddess of water and springs

weather: Ilmarinen - A Finnish sky-god, lord of wind and weather

tree spirits: Dryads - In Greek mythology, the dryads are female spirits of nature (nymphs), who preside over the groves and forests. Each one is born with a certain tree over which she watches. A dryad either lives in a tree, in which case she is called a hamadryad, or close to it. The lives of the dryads are connected with that of the trees; should the tree perish, then she dies with it. If this is caused by a mortal, the gods will punish him for that deed. The dryads themselves will also punish any thoughtless mortal who would somehow injure the trees.
