Family Rights

In Clermont, Florida, a young girl was beaten to death
by her father;

In Tampa, a young boy was shot in the head and killed,
according to the mother, accidentally,
by the mother's boyfriend;

In New York, the name "Joel Steinberg," once the darling
of the "more money for child protection" set,
is no longer mentioned.

These are just a few of the cases nationwide which are
or have been used to pressure polititians into giving
more tax dollars to the "child protection" agencies.

Each of these cases, and many others across the nation,
have two things in common:
*****1. The children died; and
*****2. The so-called "protectors" did nothing.

The self-annointed "child protectors," payed by our taxes,
in each of these cases was fully aware of the danger to
these children. Yet the children were left in or returned
to the home life that killed them.

At the same time, viable families across the country
are being ripped apart by these very same "protectors,"
for no other reason than that they don't conform to the
prejudicial standards of the given "protector." It may
be a mixed culture family, or a male head of household
without a female in residence, or any one of a number
of personal criteria.

Or, as in the case described briefly on the next page,
it may be simply because the person was helping another
family to free itself of this madness.

One very large question is, "WHY?" Why does the system
that was supposed to protect children become agents of
their destruction?

Why does the system destroy families who are merely having
a rough time, or who just need a little temporary help?

Why does the system place children in harms' way through
the foster care industry, which allows people to take a
child for money (slavery) without taking proper care
of that child?
