UFO Sightings Over New England Wins Top Honors at NH Internet Awards

The New Hampshire web building community gathered at C.R. Sparks in Bedford last night to recognize the winners of the New Hampshire Internet Awards, a contest that seeks out and honors the best of New Hampshire’s Web design in a variety of categories.

This year, 147 Web sites from across the state entered the competition.

The second annual New Hampshire Internet Awards selected UFO Sightings Over New England as the winner in the Best Weird Wide Web category for the most surprising, strangest, and unusual site based in New Hampshire.

The Internet Awards is organized by Network Publications, the company that produces New Hampshire’s premier Web site, NH.com, and New Hampshire Magazine.  Network Publications is a sister company of the Telegraph Publishing Co. , which publishes The Telegraph.

The event benefited the non-profit Girls Inc. of New Hampshire with help from sponsors Keane Inc. and PC Connection Inc..

The sites were evaluated by staffers of the New Media Development Group of Blethen Maine Newspapers, the parent company of the Portland Press-Herald.  The mission of the NH Internet Awards is to recognize the best in online design in the state.
