Information listed in the below states were compiled from a number of Internet sources that have databases listing reported sightings. Due to a number of duplications of sighting reports in those various sources, it is somewhat difficult to give credit where credit is due to the originating source. Therefore, this site acknowledges and gives credit to all the sources of these reports presented to you collectively now, as I cannot determine the origin of each particular sighting report: National UFO Reporting Center, MUFON, NH MUFON, MA MUFON, VT MUFON, CT MUFON, Miningco.com's UFO/Alien web site, Magonia, Project Bluebook, Filer's Files, National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, and anyone else who made a report or who I missed ! Plus, we can't forget the people that had the sighting experience and had the courage to come forward and report their incident so the world could know.

report seeing a very bright light coming towards them from the north. At first
they thought it was a helicopter with unusually bright anti-collision lights, but the light wasn't white, it was yellow/orange, like a campfire. The size at first was approximately 3 to 4 times the size of Venus, which was visible in the west at that time.
They turned off the radio to hear it, but there was no sound. As they watched, it gradually
traveled south over their house. As it traveled south, it gradually slowed down. A bit past
their chimney, the object stopped, and just hovered in place for about 2 minutes, while
they watched it flicker. There was no pulse or regularity to the flickering. The object began to move again, this time towards the northeast, and faster. Then it appeared to turn away from

The remaining 4 objects went into several different formations. At one point two of them separated from the other two. They remained like that for about 3 minutes. They judged the distance to be about 15 feet between the pairs. Then they just disappeared. They had a digital camera with them and one was able to capture one fairly good picture. At the time the picture was taken, you can see three of them. They don't know how to make the objects bigger in the picture, but someone is coming over to see if he can help. - NUFORC |
Southbury | 2000 October 23 | A witness noticed a solid, bright light in the east sky. The day before, he read a report stating that most people mistake UFO's for Venus because they do not expect the planet to be so bright. He ruled out that the light was probably Venus. He saw a second light, lower than Venus and to the right. Dimmer, and smaller, but bright nonetheless, and solid. He looked at the sky with concentration. Not a cloud in sight for miles, everything perfectly clear. He looked at the moon which appeared to be in the south. It was a crescent moon. This is when he saw the light. A bright, flickering object in the sky off in the distance. It was on the left side, lower than Venus, to create an equilateral triangle. He stopped and stared at the "UFO", it clearly wasn't a planet, or an airplane. In fact as he looked at the object, he figured that it was blinking about 4 times a second. The entire object wasn't blinking. It had other lights, and only a portion of lights, on the bottom half of it, were blinking. He wasn't walking anymore, and noticed that it was moving back and forth slowly and unsteadily. Then came an airplane. In a relative distance to the UFO. He have seen strange lights in the sky before, but this is the first time he believes it couldn't be anything else, not a flare, a plane, a planet, the moon, a balloon, or spotlight. It was some sort of craft. - NUFORC |
Southbury | 1998 November 27 | A person reported seeing a large triangular object that hovered for about 30 minutes, then accelerated and disappeared over the horizon. The person saw 3 bright red lights and a golden yellow light on the nose. The speed seemed so slow that he wondered how it could remain aloft. The object traveled south to north. As it came directly in front of him, it seemed to make a 90 degree bank and stop. The lights changed color from red to golden yellow. It remained stationary and very stable. He guessed the distance to be about 100-150 yards away. he watched the lights for roughly 30 minutes, then the object rolled back 90 degrees to a straight and level orientation. The lights changed back to red. The object then accelerated, banked left and disappeared over the western horizon. - NUFORC |
Stamford | 2001 February 23 | A witness reports seeing a series of six bright white lights hovering in the sky. Wallingford | 2000 July 20 | Report of within a ten minute period 3 separate objects appeared. They were bluish white single lights. They flew in opposite directions. One went east, one northeast, the other west. They were very bright for about 1 second then the brilliance went out, however the witness continued to track them thru binoculars. They appeared to be large spheres and moved across the sky in about 20- 30 seconds. They appeared to be at an altitude above small planes but below high flying jets. Sometimes they pulsate and sometimes not. When they do show up it is usually in clusters within a 10-20 minute segment as was this sighting. Even with binoculars they still appear as orbs. - NUFORC |
