Andover 1999 September 13     A person made an abduction report for the date of  9/8/99.   The door had been left open for the cat to move in and out with out the person having to move. At about 1:30 am, their cable went out, as did the rest of the electricity in the house. Then there appeared an eerie glow from the open door. The glow was a soft green/white, sort of a muted color. At this time the person did not know what to do, and thought some friends were trying to play a practical joke.  Although the person did not know what the glow was, moved out of their chair and slowly towards the door. As the person swung their head around the frame of the door, the light disappeared. The person noticed that the electrical power had been returned to the house, because the lights in the room the person had been in, turned on again. the cable box said the time was now 2:32 (am). when the person noticed this, the person thought that maybe it had been a problem with the returning of power to the home. The person went to sit down in the same chair and realized that it had been moved. The person got nervous and moved quickly to the stairs (going up), when reaching the bedroom (in search of a flashlight) noticed the clock said that the current time was 2:33 (am), the clocks in the next room, also had the same time. The person ran back to the kitchen, in which the exit to the house was, and noticed that the person received several messages, including one with their boss asking why the person hadn't come to work that day. The date was 9/9/99, The person had no recollection of where he had been for the previous day and in about hour. The cat has not since returned and the person's finger nails had been trimmed there was also a black residue on them that seemed to dissolve before waking up on 9/10/99. The person contacted the police but they said they couldn't help. - NUFORC

1966 April 22

Three adults went outside to calm a child, and saw an object circling and hovering.  They called the police. Two police officers arrived and saw the object appear to "dance" with two other objects. Police described the object as plate-shaped when stationary above the school building. TV reception was blurred throughout the observation.  - NICAP
Boston 2001 February 13     While driving into Boston from the North near the airport, a witness saw 2 jet's leaving trails headed toward each other directly over the city high in the sky. Underneath them appeared a light which flickered and then glowed intensely before suddenly disappearing. After about a second or two it re-appeared in what must have been 20 miles to the east over the ocean. It remained there for maybe 10 seconds or so and then glowed brighter and vanished. The light was white and it did seem like it was flickering or hazy but it was really strange how it glowed before it vanished each time. - NUFORC
Boston 2001 February 7     2 witnesses report seeing what they thought was Venus or something. It was stable and really bright, very high in the sky.  About 1 minute later, a second light appeared right next to the other bright light, equally bright. The lights dimmed and began moving quickly in different directions. They were moving pretty fast and eventually they began following each other but at a distance, changing to much dimmer lights. They were not planes. - NUFORC
Boston 2000 June 27      A couple reports that while in the Boston Common walking away from the public gardens towards the Park St. station, they noticed a fast moving light heading east to west in the sky. The approach for commercial planes was directly over the common heading due east, the opposite direction of which way the light was moving. It was clearly not a helicopter for it made no sound resembling a helicopter, although it was possible this object was too high to hear the sound if it made one. It was visible for about ten seconds at about a 40 degree angle in the southern sky of where they were at that particular point (the exact location of the sighting was about 100 yards north of the gate which is across the street from the public garden, on the path next to the softball field. - NUFORC
Boston 2000 May 31     A witness reports that while standing on Summer St. near the corner of Devonshire St. in downtown Boston, looking southeast down Summer Street, when he saw an object traverse the space where the sky was visible between the buildings. The object had the shape of a comet or large meteorite, with a “head” about 1/2 lunar diameter and a “tail” about 3 lunar diameters in size. It passed at a high rate of speed from right to left, in a generally North or Northeast direction, also moving downward at about a 30 degree angle relative to the horizon. It was visible to him for less than a second. What made it highly unusual to him was its color. It appeared to be a consistent shade of green, perhaps yellow green, bright, almost of a florescent quality. The surface of both the object and its tail appeared mottled, broken up by dark patches between the green. It had the appearance of something colored by a florescent pen on an animation gel, with no variation in color aside from the mottled appearance. The mottling and the detail of the object’s tail appeared to be changing slightly as it quickly passed, convincing him it was no reflection. It did appear to be traveling beneath the cloud cover, indicating a fairly low altitude. Under that cloud cover, he had clear visibility well beyond the range of the object, which he would guess to be 1/2 to 1 mile away. - NUFORC

A report was made of a sighting of approximately seven saucers each about 3 inches in diameter. - NUFORC

Boston

1954 June 1

A Paris-New York TWA aircraft was passing near Boston when the cockpit crew spotted a large, white-colored disc-like object overhead.  The crew all watched it for a total time of 10 minutes as they flew on their own southwestward course to New York.  They would occasionally lose sight of it behind clouds. Knowing that they were flying into headwinds, they concluded that it could not be any kind of balloon, so they radioed the Boston airport control tower, which informed them that jets were scrambled and saw the object, but could not close in on it.  - Dr McDonald, NICAP

Bradford 2000 November 19     Driving South on Interstate 495, witnesses report seeing a large dark object extremely high in the air. It held a stationary position. They pulled over to a rest stop and had a video camera with them. They zoomed in and it started to take shape, the view became distorted and shaky. They drew back the shot and got a good shot of the distance in height compared to the tree line. A car pulled in  and a guy asked what they were looking at. They pointed up and asked what he thought it was. He said a balloon or something. His friend thought it might be a helicopter. They said that a balloon would pop at that height and it would be moving. They thought that a helicopter wouldn't be able to reach that height. They both looked in the camera and said that they couldn't figure it out. Another car pulled in and a lady asked what they thought it was. The shape of the object, almost looked like a cluster of balloons. They decided to get back into the car since the object wasn't really doing anything. They noticed a small plane coming towards them. They took the camera so they could get both in the same shot. They figured this might be a good way to see the distance in height and size. The plane was a lot lower and a lot closer to them. They recorded the plane and zoomed in on it. When they drew back to get both objects it was gone. They panned around the area to see if it moved but couldn't find it again. They don't believe that the plane had anything to do with it because the plane was a lot lower and seemed to be already passed it. They didn't notice any lights or sound. The sky was a light gray due to the time of the day. - NUFORC
Braintree 2000 May 6     A person witnessed a very bright light approach -- much brighter than a star. It took approx. 8 - 10 minutes for object to reach his location and only noise he heard  sounded like a soft, gentle whirrrrr. The witness stated that it was a very bright, single light -- not aircraft landing lights. - NUFORC
Braintree 1999 November 18     A witness reported that while observing a meteor shower from out of doors he witnessed a red, star-sized light appear in the area of the Big Dipper. After a few seconds it was joined by two more. They appeared to interact together for about 10 seconds and then formed into the shape of a triangle for about 3 seconds and then moved swiftly across the sky to the South. He lost site of them as they passed directly over the roof of his house. The movements appeared to be extremely organized and deliberate and he got the strong sense that he was being observed in some manner. He has never experienced anything like this and felt quite disturbed by it. - NUFORC

Canton 2000 February 8     A witness reported that he was traveling south on I-95 in Canton when he saw a bright light off to the west of his location, he traveled for 3 miles watching the light At first he thought it must be a plane and kept his eye on it, after 2 miles something told him to pull over into the breakdown lane to watch, as it passed overhead just in front of his truck he noticed that the lights were not setup like a planes. There were 10 lights all which were yellow/white in color 2 of the 10 lights were strobe lights color blue at the rear middle of the craft, lights were located on the 3 corners and located at the bottom middle of the craft 2 in the front side by side and 3 at the bottom middle side by side across the back. He rolled down the window and stuck his head out to look closer and heard not a sound and this craft was at a height that when he extended his arm out at the craft his hand just covered it, a jet plane at this height would have been loud but no noise. It traveled about 10 miles in about 2 minutes from Rte 1A in Walpole to Rte 138 in Stoughton. - NUFORC
Canton 1999 December 20     Witnesses report that they drove through Stoughton after taking the exit 19B to Rte. 138 enroute to Canton, they saw a bright round luminous object in the sky. This object was much bigger than any star they have seen and the beam of light coming from it was a straight and round, long and thick beam. Then after about what seemed a minute, the object suddenly disappeared from the sky.  About 2 minutes later they witnessed 4 planes take v-formation in the sky and they appeared to be searching for something. As they drove down 138, they again saw this object. This time it appeared to be bigger, perhaps closer and they were able to see the exhaust area that the beams came from. The exhaust area looked like 5 round holes, brightly lit. As they witnessed this object for the 2nd time, they both felt extremely frightened.  Just then the object disappeared, shortly thereafter, the 4 planes took formation. On the way back from Canton,  they again seen the object, it appeared as it did earlier with the beam of light but now it sort of had a trailing light also. As they watched, a young man approached and looked into the sky. He yelled to them that he could see it also. Just then, it disappeared and sure enough, here comes the 4 planes in formation.  After approximately, 40 minutes, while driving on Rte. 24 towards Brockton, they witnessed the object again. This time it seemed very brief, but once again the planes came in formation. - NUFORC

Lunenburg 2000 June 11     A witness reports that while driving along at about 3 AM on a clear, starry night, the moon had likely already set by this time, on the opposite horizon.  He saw a spherical object at his 10 o'clock position, about 30 degrees above the horizon, in the northwest. It was bright and luminous, but not bright enough to cause him to squint. The quality of the light reminded him of florescent, dull white with a slight bluish tinge. The light did not pulsate, or show any other variation. The most interesting thing was the size of the light. It had the apparent size of a penny at arms length, much to big to be an aircraft or landing lights. The brightness was even across the diameter, and the edge was sharp, with no halo effect, against the background of the clear night sky. It gave the impression of a self luminous, spherical object, not a bright light projected from a small source. The object hovered completely stationary for a full five seconds, at least. There were enough clear stars to judge its relative movement, or lack there of. He lives fairly close to a municipal airport, and is very familiar with aircraft lights and the effect of a head-on landing light. This was not an ordinary aircraft, and the size of the light made its unusual nature very clear. The object suddenly blinked out, as if a light had been extinguished, and a split second later re-appeared north of its original position, slightly higher in the sky. He would estimate its apparent movement relative to the star field was a fists distance at arms length. The interesting thing was that when it reappeared, in addition to the visual distance in movement, the object appeared to be only one-third to one-quarter the diameter it appeared originally. The light still had a wider visual diameter than an ordinary aircraft light, and maintained its almost florescent quality. Roughly a second after it reappeared, it started moving in a northerly direction, covering about four fists width in about three seconds. As it moved relative to the star field northward, it also very quickly diminished in size and brightness, until it totally disappeared from view. Just before vanishing, the light was much smaller than the way a typical star appears in your vision, and the quality of the light was more a dim reddish orange. Just as unusual as the large diameter of the light was at the beginning of the sighting, the tiny pin prick of light before it disappeared was much smaller than the lights from even high altitude airliners. As it diminished in size, it very quickly reached such a small size that it would not have been noticed at all by anyone not following the trajectory of the object. It gave the clear impression of an object shooting skyward at incredible speed, but not straight up. More like an 80 to 85 degree climb. There was no discernible form to the object, but its perfect circular appearance from my viewing angle seems to support a spherical rather than disk shape. There is no way to be certain of its actual size, but he had the very strong impression that its distance from him at the beginning of the sighting a quarter mile to half mile, or less, and its altitude somewhere between 800 and 1500 feet. If so, based on the rate of decrease in the visual size of the light as it climbed, he would guess that it climbed a number of miles in altitude in seconds. It was the perceived speed and rate of climb that cemented the impression that this object was extremely extraordinary in nature. - NUFORC

Revere 2000 June 20     A witness reports that he glanced out one of the living room windows, the one facing west, and saw a UFO.  He grabbed a pair of binoculars in order to observe it more closely. It was a single craft in a disk or saucer shape. It appeared to be moving very slowly and at a low altitude in a north by northeast direction. Because of this movement, he had to switch to a northerly facing window at the front of his living room through which to continue to observe it. Being on a 3rd floor lifted him above the surrounding houses and gave him an unobstructed view of this object in the sky. It appeared to glow and was luminous tan in color. Tiny lights red, green, yellow, white, etc. in color flashed on & off all over the surface of this moving object. This reminded him of the random flashing of a Christmas tree light array. The disk of this craft did not appear to be rotating. It was majestically beautiful in its polychromatic luminousness and surreal slow motion in the night sky. At one point a jet or propeller airplane appeared through the binoculars in the same field of vision, but its white light was far more distant than the UFO and moved much more rapidly. (Through an east window of his living room he can see Revere Beach, MA and the Atlantic Ocean. The Logan International Airport is nearby.) As the craft moved northeastward, it passed over the floodlights of the Wonderland race track north of his home. Soon thereafter the UFO disappeared out of his view over the horizon. From the moment he first saw it until this, approximately 15 minutes elapsed. This craft was not a propeller plane or jet, not a helicopter, not a balloon, but, literally, a UFO. - NUFORC

Description

Becket 2001 February 27     Witnesses report seeing three dish shaped disks with lights on them that were observed through a picture window. The color of the lights started as white then changed to red. They were hovering over a pond and appeared to be chasing each other. The police were notified and came to the seen as the crafts left. The officer stated he did not see the crafts, however a witness stated seeing the officer turn off his lights and back up on the road near their driveway. - NUFORC
- NUFORC
Andover 2001 January 26     While driving home, a witness reports seeing an apparent approaching small aircraft that was together with another light, suddenly this light light just screamed across his viewpoint. It seemed to slow very quickly and descend. - NUFORC
Foxboro 2000 December 19     A witness reports having his camcorder with him across from the new stadium being built for the Patriots.  As he was zooming in on one of the crane tops he noticed a round shiny object fly to the left of it for about 15 seconds and disappeared.  About half way thru its flight it glowed very brightly and dimmed as the flight ended. - NUFORC
Gloucester 2000 December 2     A witness reports that while taking an evening walk with the family, they noticed a bright white light bobbing around in the easterly skies. It looked like a star, but it's motion was erratic,...never staying in the same spot for more than just a few seconds. It moved up and down, and jogged back and forth laterally. It disappeared behind a hill and did not reappear. - NUFORC
- NUFORC
Northampton 2000 October 25

A witness reports walking out of the house and seeing a quick fireball in sky. It had a brighter light in front and looked like sparks behind it. It quickly dimmed. - NUFORC

Hatfield 2000 October 19     A couple were outside of their apartment with a telescope looking at the stars, one was sitting down looking up and said to the other, do you see that, he said yes.  They saw what seemed to be a star, then it got brighter and brighter, it looked like a light bulb, it continued to come down all lit up, then it just died out and took off in a northerly direction. - NUFORC
Fall River 2000 September 8    A report was made of a translucent ball that was seen to hover over the Learning Resources Center of Bristol Community College for over an hour. It was seen by a number of students but when pointed out to a security man, he claimed not to be able to see it. The object was approximately 20 feet in diameter and seemed to float just above the top of an antenna on the building. After about an hour, it just disappeared. - NUFORC
Hanson 2000 September 5     Approximately 10 people could see a seemingly stationary light in the ESE sky. It flashed once every 10 seconds and wasn't easy to spot.  Everyone did see it by watching the right area and waiting for the flash. Binoculars were passed around and it was discovered there was a second fainter one near it, possibly a third even fainter. As they watched for fifteen minutes it was noticed that they had moved significantly in relation to the stars. As they watched they ruled out airplanes and "normal" satellites.  The most visible light was the size of a star. Upon returning home it was still there 15 minutes later having moved a little. - NUFORC
Attleboro 2000 September 1      A witness saw a strange light in the sky while he was walking the dog and went to get my wife to look out the window but by then it was gone.  It was only there for maybe 30 seconds.  It kind of looked like a crescent moon with points of light curving top and bottom to the left with a bright shining round ball in the middle of the shape. No planes in the sky and the sky was partly cloudy at the time. - NUFORC
Millis 2000 August 17     Two witnesses reportably saw a silhouette in the window, it was a very bright white light, the dog was frightened and will not go into an area of grass in the backyard that is matted down in a circular shape.  Their satellite TV scrambled and showed square symbols, interference with alarm clocks 1 hr ahead - NUFORC
Wakefield 2000 August 11     A person reports at around 2 in the morning...was sound asleep until woke up for some reason and looked up from bed and looked out the bedroom window on the right... couldn't believe what was seen...the first thing thought was "this is no plane"... opened the screen and hung half way out to get a better look at this thing....it had 3 white lights that formed a triangle with a blinking red light in the middle... surrounding this form was a perfect circle of white mist you could almost see through.... it shot straight down and slowly moved to the right where it almost came to a complete stop and hovered... the witness backed inside the window and ran to the bathroom to get a better look but it was gone. - NUFORC
Waltham 2000 August 11

A witness reports looking up at the sky (mid center) observed a passenger aircraft that was a large to medium jumbo jet flying ENE towards Boston at approximately 10-15k feet, observed a brown object that flew around the craft then following it for a while before it maneuvered in a strange fashion before taking off in a northern path and out of site.

- NUFORC
Framingham 2000 June 11

A witness reports that while traveling on Route 9 he observed an object that looked like a semi deflated hot air balloon approx. 40' round and glowing orange in color. This object caught his attention as it appeared to be falling or drifting off one of the buildings in the east bound lane. As he quickly approached the building he observed this object was moving. He began to pick up speed to catch up to this object at one point and was going 65 mph and still not gaining on it.  This went on for approx. 3/4 of a mile, he could see it very clearly it was moving just above the tree line moving west in the east bound side of the road when it just vanished.

- NUFORC
Newton 2000 May 3      A witness reports sitting on the front porch and all of a sudden there was a huge bright flash of blinding white light which seemed to eminate from the northeast, the sky was clear, not a cloud in the sky, after it happened, his neighbor came out of his house and told him that Raytheon had lost some of their power and that he was called into work. There must have been others who witnessed this, the light was everywhere, it seemed to envelope the whole area, his eyes felt like they do when someone flashes a camera in your face, it was that bright if not brighter, for a moment he thought they had been nuked or something. His neighbors car alarm didn't work when he went to get into his car, he thought that was pretty strange. - NUFORC
Franklin 2000 April 30

A witness reported seeing a black diamond shaped object with two white circles in the center and red blinking lights rotating around those white lights. Object had a sharp silverish outline. It was going from SW to NE. First seen from about 75 degrees above the horizon and watched for about ten minutes as it traveled away to about 10 degrees above the horizon. At that point it appeared as a twinkling star would. - NUFORC

Rockport 2000 April 20     Two witnesses reported seeing an oval shaped craft hovering in the very same spot. It had a consistent white light on top, and alternating red, yellow and green lights on the bottom. It was completely stationary, yet the lights were glistening at a terrific pace. It made no noise. They went inside to get a cell phone to call the police, and when they came back outside, it was gone. - NUFORC
Newton 2000 March 30

While driving in Newton a person observed a pulsating white light that that had a look similar to a strobe light traveling south to north at a high rate of speed. The sighting lasted approx. 3 min before the light disappeared behind some trees. - NUFORC

Pembroke 2000 March 18     A former police officer reports that he noticed a bright pulsating white light in the western horizon, about 30-40 degrees up / 9:30-10:00 position. Thought it was a plane, but it wasn't moving. It just stayed there. Looked at it thru binoculars and saw the different lights, pulsating white, red, green and blue. Also saw faint red flashes intermittent at different distances, still in close proximity, but didn't see them when not looking thru binoculars.  This didn't seem to be a star/planet/nebula as the binoculars are not that powerful(10X50). When he looked at the stars he had to refocus to see them clearly and vise versa. The weather was crystal clear/full moon. Does not think this was a plane. He's watched them for many years and knows when a plane at high altitude is coming straight towards you it seems not to be moving for a long time but this was definitely different.
- NUFORC
Milton 2000 January 5      A person reported that he noticed a very bright light in the western sky at 5 AM while taking in the morning paper. At first, he thought it might be a star, but it moved, then disappeared behind the roof line of the neighbor's house, reappeared and continued on a south westerly to north easterly course. It appeared to be about 2 miles high with very bright white lights in the front and three red lights in the rear and with other bright lights on the side. It moved steadily, but was not in the normal air traffic pattern for the Boston area approach or departure.  He called the FAA in Nashua N.H., to ask if they had any aircraft to report in the area at 5 AM and they said no. - NUFORC
Lee 2000 January 5     A witness reported seeing a wing-less object with 2 red lights and a white one in the center that moved slowly across the sky too slow to be an air craft.  It was a very dark colored craft and it made no sounds, but before he saw it he heard a humming noise then when he lost sight of the the object he heard the same humming noise.
- NUFORC
Lee 1999 October 15     A teenager reported that he saw a saucer shaped craft go right over the top of his house and his dog was barking and running around.  The craft had a row of lights all the way across it and a big light on the bottom. - NUFORC
Springfield 1999 October 7      A man and his wife ooked up and saw a perfect V shape of bright orangy/yellow round objects approaching. They flew right above them and disappeared to the other side of horizon. Their estimate of their distance is 1,000 ft. It was clear star-lit sky. There was no sound coming from these objects. They called 911, the police and the close by Westover Air Force Base, but nobody took them seriously. - NUFORC
Wilmington 1999 September 13     Witnesses report seeing a star but it was at 11:30 in the morning. The sun was shining bright and there were no clouds in the area. The object was about 45-50 degrees in the eastern sky and did not move. They looked to see if they could see other stars but could not. After watching it for about 15 minutes they noticed that at about one half inch and at 7:00 to the object there would be a flash about every minute or so. The object looked to be very high in the sky like it could be a star. They watched some jets fly through the sky and they did not seem to be even close to it. The jets looked very small to their eyes and ones that looked larger and closer left condensation trails behind them. They all left and went back to work and would periodically look to see if it was still there. In a two hour period the object seemed to get more dull. They think it was due to the sun moving toward the west. In that time the object moved a total of 2-3 inches the the north, maybe due to the rotation of the earth. They last saw it at around 2:00 when they had to leave the building and go to another location. When they got there they looked to see if they could see it but there were clouds in the sky blocking the view. - NUFORC
Newburyport 1999 September 13     A witness reports that he observed a very bright light over the water (where the Merrimac River meets the Atlantic Ocean) in the N.E. section of the sky. The sky was clear (no cloud cover) and the stars were visible. This light was approx. 3 times as bright as the stars and approx. 30 degrees above the horizon (it appeared much lower in the sky than the stars). It moved very slowly (from left to right). He observed it through his binoculars part of the time. The light appeared more rounded on the left side and slightly jagged on the right. Unfortunately he could only observe it for a few minutes. It didn't appear to be a planet ( He has observed Jupiter & Venus in the past). He's really not sure what it was. - NUFORC
- NUFORC
Salem 1999 August 3     While sitting by the shore, a witness noticed a bright light overhead tracking to the southeast.  While he thought it was an airplane ( it was a circular light much brighter than a planet - venus / jupiter) for a moment the light suddenly dimmed and then it appeared to look like a satellite tracking through the sky from the left to the right while looking east over the ocean only a second later it suddenly disappeared. It was a very clear night and plenty of other stars visible. It completely faded away and not into the horizon, was still relatively overhead. At same instant it disappeared another light not as bright was noticed tracking in the same direction on a different track at a slightly higher speed. This light stayed at a steady intensity without the bright flash that the other had made in the same spot. The second light disappeared at a spot ahead of where the first had vanished. - NUFORC
Springfield 1999 July 14     A person reports seeing two very bright white strobes in the sky.  He stopped to watch them and noticed that instead of being next to each other (as in wingtip strobes) they were trailing.  The appearance of the strobes was such that they appeared to be at a fairly low altitude.  There were no other lights (as in tail or belly beacons, navigation lights, or anti-collision lights).   As the witness looked north the lights moved in a slightly curving path from roughly NW to NE.  They moved at a fairly slow pace.  The lights appeared to be at low altitude so he tried to listen for some kind of noise.  It was absolutely silent.  He has been involved in aviation his entire life, and has never seen anything like this before.  The sighting lasted about 2 to 3 minutes. - NUFORC
Shrewsbury 1999 June 12     While driving along Rte 20, two witnesses looked up in sky and saw a silver object sitting in the clear blue sky.   They lost sight of it as trees obscured their view.  One witness recalls it as being crescent-shaped; the other described it as being a slim rectangle. - NUFORC
Woburn 1999 May 14     While letting their dog out in the early morning hours, witnesses report seeing a circle of 6 lights that were more like a ring of 6 individual lights because you could see the sky through the circle.  They moved through the western sky then would stop and just sit there.  They watched the lights until the dog was done outside.  There was no wing span visible and the lights were steady, not flashing like you would see on a plane. - NUFORC
Cape 1999 May 2     A person reports seeing two strange pale orange lights crossing the road in front of his vehicle on Rte 6. They moved in a strange scrambling kind of motion less than a foot off the ground.  They did not see any object and did not see any animal associated with the lights. - NUFORC
Fitchburg 1999 April 24     A disk shaped craft was seen reflecting light off the sun and drifting higher and north.  The weather that day was full of high clouds, so the object was at least 40,000 ft in the air.  A commercial jet flew by at about the average 35,000 ft and it seemed miles away from it.  The object slowly drifted into the horizon north towards New Hampshire. - NUFORC
Berkley 1999 April 22     A person reported seeing a pale orange color fireball type object with a long tail heading due east looking at the northern part of  the sky.  It then disappeared behind thin cloud cover. - NUFORC
Falmouth 1999 April 7     A witness reports looking out a window and seeing two bright lights approach from the west.  The object had a triangular shape with pulsating red lights underneath and made no sound.  The witness lost sight after the object flew over the house - UFO Roundup
Marstons Mills 1999 March 27     A person reports that while walking their dogs they and their son noticed a strange craft or light that seemed to travel in short spurts that wasn't particularly fast. The craft would completely stop and travel from side to side and up and down.  It traveled out of sight and would come back into view until finally it stopped. Their daughter came out and noticed the exact same lights behind us a few miles away. The person got a pair of binoculars and verified that they were vertically shaped lights that seem to rotate in an intelligent fashion. They also reported seeing tiny red lights and white ones exiting the craft from the top and re-entering at the bottom. - NUFORC
Auburn 1999 February 21     A woman reports that she and her husband witnessed some sort of ball of light from their kitchen window, so went out to the backyard and looked up into the sky to observe it.  They watched this thing, this light that had no sound, no body, lightly float over their house approximately 100 ft above their house.  They returned into the the kitchen and shut the lights off.  They went to the next room to continue to watch it until it went out of sight. - NUFORC
Worcester 1999 February 15     A person reports witnessing a strange flying craft while driving in his car.  It was saucer like except that instead of being rounded it had sharp sides and edges and the front of the craft had two points. He only saw the underneath of the craft which seemed to have many dimly lit orange lights. It seemed to be at a very high altitude yet appeared to be very large. - NUFORC
Franklin 1999 February 3     A person reports seeing a small oval shaped object moving at incredible speed.  It appeared in the region of Orion as a light brighter than the surrounding stars, but without any twinkle. All three were in formation, one directly behind the leader, the third above and a bit behind the second one. As the three objects moved together across the stars, the witnesses could see stars between the objects, indicating it was in fact three objects and not one. The objects appeared to be moving at approximately the same rate as a passing satellite. The objects were in view for approximately 30-40 seconds, then they passed behind some high, thin cirrus clouds and they lost sight of them. All three of them saw the objects, and all three described the same thing. - NUFORC

Westboro 1997 April 30     Two witnesses were driving together when they noticed a large cornfield that had a strange object in it. It looked just like a light tower with a vertical galvanized metal pole in the center and bright strobe type lights on either side. When they slowed the car, they noticed it was indeed moving. It started to get closer to the car so they sped off. When they got to the next intersection they looked ahead of them and the object was now across the street in front of them. They drove to the police station and explained to the dispatcher what they had just witnessed. The dispatcher called out to a couple of cars in the area, but they hadn't reported seeing anything. The police thought they had seen a cellular phone tower that had just gone up recently, but they tried to explain to them that towers don't move. An officer escorted them out to where the new cellular phone tower was put up, however it wasn't what they had seen. - NUFORC

The light would fade out and disappear and then reappear. The witness reports that it was not a cloud because none were present at the time. At the rear of the craft there were 4 lights close together. They were tiny compared to the one on the side and they weren't as bright. The light on the side when it went out would reappear halfway across the sky, so it was moving at a very incredible speed, much faster than a plane. - NUFORC

Soon after they were out of view, the AIR FORCE BASE in my town seem to become very active. They scrambled a number of choppers and started what seemed to be a search. This was followed by 2 jets taking to the air. This activity lasted at least 1 hour. The choppers repeatedly went back and forth in the sky over and over. - NUFORC

The objects were moving at what he would say was 30 miles per hour in a north-south rotation, switching directions in the air. He watched them for about five minutes until the objects zipped over the hills to the west. - UFO Roundup
