Final Fantasy MIDI Files
On this page is listed my MIDI file collection for Final Fantasy. All files are from the Videogame Music Archive. Note: This collection only contains ONE copy of each song. This site is not meant to be an archive; it is to provide all kinds of information on the Final Fantasy game. The files listed here are the ones that I consider to be the best.
The Files
In order of appearance:
- ff1title.mid. Size: 10.5K. This is the opening theme for the game. It is also used on the marching order screen and the map screen.
- ff1walk.mid Size: 17K The main overworld theme.
- ff1menu.mid Size: 3.0K Theme used on the menu screen.
- ff1cast.mid. Size: 3.4K This is the theme used for the castles: Coneria Castle, Castle of Elf, NW Castle, and Castle of Ordeal.
- ff1town.mid. Size: 3.0K This is the town thme.
- ff1shop.mid. Size: 6.5K. This is the theme for the shops.
- ff1battle.mid. Size: 47K. The battle theme.
- ff1victory.mid. Size: 4.7K The victory fanfare.
- ff1temp.mid. Size: 7.5K This is the theme for the Temple of Fiends(present), as well as the Sea Shrine.
- ff1prologue.mid Size: 6.6K The Final Fantasy Prologue.
- ff1cave.mid.Size: 12K This is the theme for Matoya's Cave, the Dwarf Cave, Sarda's Cave, the Ice Cave, dragon caves of the Cardia Isles, and the Waterfall Cave.
- ff1ship.mid. Size: 12.9K The ship theme.
- ff1cave1.mid. Size: 18.5K The theme for the Marsh Cave and Mirage Tower.
- ff1gurgu.mid. Size: 6.6K The theme for the Earth Cave, Titan's Tunnel, and Gurgu Volcano.
- ff1airs.mid. Size: 10.6K The airship theme.
- ff1palace.mid Size: 6.2K The Floating Palace.
- ff1under.mid Size: 5.0K The Temple of Fiends of the past
- ff1end.mid Size: 15.4K After Chaos is defeated.
