While I don't have anything worked out for this portion of Final Fantasy Classics, I've been asked many times how to get to Medusa's Cave near Jadd. So I'm going to post the solution below for anyone else who might be stuck.

First off, you don't have to bother with getting the bag of fang off the desert creatures; you can just get right into the cave without talking to the boy at all. Second, if you don't want to bother with having to fight all the creatures in the desert, feel free to get the Chocobo that's up in the woods.

There are three oases in the desert; one is almost due south of Jadd, while the other two are off to the east. Go to the oasis which is south of Jadd. You'll find two palm trees which are standing out in the open. All you have to do is walk around the trees in a figure eight pattern, and that should reveal the entrance. I'm not sure if you have to walk around them in a certain order, such as clockwise or starting to the left of the tree on the left; if one way doesn't work, try walking around the trees in a different order.
