Shippy Spoilers from a good source:
"Every episode during the season will have a "love" attempt in which either M
or S will either say or initiate something that could lead to something
romantic. However, each attempt is foiled by events."
One episode has Scully spending the night at Mulder's crummy apartment. They argue about where they're going to sleep. Mulder gives Scully his couch. She wonders where he's going to sleep. He says, "I don't sleep." She says, "is that a come on?" Mulder gives her a funny look and the scene breaks. We're left wondering what happened and the question is never answered.
In another episode Scully complains about her physique. Mulder replies, "your standards are too high." "What do you mean, Mulder?" asks Scully. "You're the one with the magazines." "I have magazines here and there," replies Mulder, "but today I'm perfectly satisfied looking at you."
SK-penned The X-Files episode to be titled "Night Of The Living Dead," in homage to Romero's classic. The opening scene will reportedly be almost identical to that film until the line "Look, there's one of them now!" Instead of a zombie, there's Mulder. The woman begins to run away until a hand grabs her from beyond the grave, a la Carrie, and she dies of fright.
There's a new writer named Jeffrey Bell. He wrote Rain King which is getting good reviews from those who have read it.
