Hunt for the Dragonewt Armour

Senola, the Vingan, has been approached by a strange Newtling wearing a gold collar. He has given her a sack of silver to retrieve his master's skin.

Upon investigation of the various armourers and "adventurer hangouts" in Pavis, Senola heard that a suit of Dragonewt skin armour had been made by none other than the Leatherworkers/Clothmakers Guildmaster, Brygga Scissortongue - the mayor of Pavis herself! (It was through seeking an audience with Brygga that Senola was "persuaded" to engage in the service of the Pavis Temple.) When she got to see Brygga, she was told that the person bringing the skin had insisted that none other than the Guildmaster work with it, and that it was a handsome Agimori warrior who claimed ownership of it - and paid well for it to be turned into armour.

Senola spread the word that she was searching for an Agimori, and it was not long before one was spotted entering the Rubble alone. Senola gathered some of her companions and entered the Rubble on the Agimori's trail, they had only just crossed over the Zebra bridge when they were waylaid by a group of Baboon and Newtling Bandits. Mira, Mizra and Corbis were taken out with poison darts, but Hugh (the Humakti) quickly "demoralised" the leader and scared the bandits off without bloodshed - which was much appreciated by Shereama (the Healer).

Returning the unconcious party members to the city, they repaired to Gimpy's to discuss what to do next. They were joined by a Yelamalian - Hafnar - and decided to carry on tracking the Agimori. For the second time they crossed the Zebra Bridge and headed toward the Huntlands. Upon reaching the road, they encounered a Lunar Patrol. Considering they were outnumbered, they tried the friendly approach; it worked, but the Lunars hadn't seen a lone Agimori - why were the PCs so interested?

The party told the patrol that the Agimori had stolen something from their employer and that was why they were chasing him. The Lunars seemed satisfied with that, but before they parted company the Lunar officer (Yanafal Tarnils) politely asked Hugh (Humakt) if he would care to duel. Hugh accepted, and a wager was agreed: if the officer lost, he would grant a favour. If Hugh lost he would tell the officer his blessing from Humakt and what it cost him (his Gift & Geas).

The duel commenced, and with two quick blows was over. Hugh had won, parrying the Lunar blow and slashing the officer across the belly. The Lunar graciously acknowledged his defeat, and asked what the favour was to be. Hugh asked that the Lunars accompany the party on their search, and they had no choice but to agree.
