Unicorns of the Forest

You decide that you would like to be introduced to some of the unicorns. "Ok," says your guide. "First I'll introduce you to some of the unicorn pairs."

The girl gives a high, three-toned whistle. After a moment, six unicorns emerge from the trees. The first two to arrive have smooth horns, full tails, and long manes. The stop a few feet away. "This is Sellah and Midraya," Silvanon tells you.

You notice that Sellah seems a bit high strung. He stands alert, whereas Midraya calmly nibbles at the grass.

The next pair of unicorns to appear are rather different in appearance. Their horns are spiraled and their tails are tuffed like a lion's. "This is Ephan and Timpa."

Ephan, the stallion, seems quite outgoing. He trotts right up to you and gives you a friendly nudge. Timpa seems a more dreamy type. She stops to watch a shooting star overhead before coming over.

About this time a third pair of unicorns appears. Unlike the others, this pair drops down from the sky. As they land, you notice their smooth horns and cloven hooves. "Here's Zylin and Dayla," says Silvanon.

Both Zylin and Dayla strike you as adventurers.

Next two stallions come out from the trees. "Oh," says Silvanon. "Here are some of our bachellors."
